How about kiun?

I’ve written a lot about Kiun recently and just ajkdfgjkdnfgkjdnfg. Really, my feelings for this character have been such a roller coaster. At first I was all up in arms because poor!! Kiun!!! We must protect the lightning dragon!! But actually now my thoughts are like WAIT YOU DID WHAT??? More than any character in Noragami, I feel like Kiun is a perfect example of why you cannot take people at face value. No one is as simple as they appear, and everyone has both their ups and their downs–their moments of incredible kindness and generosity and their deepest, darkest mistakes. Kiun is trying and I absolutely love him for that. It just makes me a bit sad that he’s also proof that sometimes when we try we still aren’t good enough. There is so much room for him to grow as a characterrrrr, do not let me down Adachitoka!!

Takemikazuchi, lol. Okay but also, hear me out on this one, Kinuha/Kiun would be pretty hot, just sayinnnnn’. XDDDD

Kiun trying to give Yukine life advice and getting totally ignored would be the funniest thing in the world to me. Just imagine Kiun every five seconds “You know, little hafuri, the proper way to–” “Who even let you into our house????” But being serious though, I actually think, now that Yukine’s trust in Kazuma has been shaken, it might be time for Yukine to pick up a new mentor, and Kiun clearly has eons of experience fighting monsters and kicking ass. Meanwhile, Yukine can teach Kiun a thing or two about how to be a good friend, rather than just a good shinki.

Talked about this before, but Kiun hasn’t been that good of a guidepost. He is doing his best, but all the circumstances and clashing personalities and painful history between them has made it pretty much impossible for him to guide Takemikazuchi down the right path as they both are right now. Kiun is, to a certain extent (and I actually think this is a good thing for the story), responsible for the hot mess Takemikazuchi currently is, and Kiun should not be completely off the hook for Takemikazuchi’s insecurities, inability to set healthy boundaries, and total lack of chill… Also I definitely think Kiun looks better with his scars than without them. @_@

I want an entire Kiun and Takemikazuchi subplot where they both admit they haven’t been the best to each other and have a lot of stuff to still figure out and the whole gang–the Yato-trio, Kofuku, Daikoku, mini Ebi, Bishamon and company–all help them get closer and work through their complicated past and everything is beautiful and nothing hurts anymore pleaseeeee and thankkk you. Also, I love to imagine that when Take-chan gets bored of their hairstyle, he makes Kiun try out all kinds of different styles first before he’ll commit to changing his own hair to match. XD

Takiun. Oh lord. This ship hurts so good. I love it when things aren’t simple between characters, when they have dark history, when they’ve hurt each other or not been the best to each other that they could be because it’s so much more… true in a sense? Not everyone marries their high school sweetheart and has a dream relationship where there’s never any fighting or resentment and no one’s feelings ever get hurt. Sometimes you will be let down by the people you love–or let the person you love down. Sometimes you will make terrible mistakes and sometimes you will do things that, in retrospect, are so awful you feel like you can never really be forgiven for them. That stuff can happen in real life. And it’s how you deal with that–deal with pain and frustration and guilt together–that can give meaning and weight and honestly to a lasting relationship.

Meh, haven’t really thought of one but @takemikazuchiplz‘s recent Pokemon post is really making me want a Pokemon trainers AU. XDD

Have a bunch: Kiun has literally the worst static cling of any living creature and he cannot touch anything metal without shocking himself. He had to get an all glass and plastic cellphone because he used to have one with brushed metal but he KILLED it with excess electricity. People intentionally ground themselves before attempting to touch him. Balloons and dryer sheets and plastic bags and anything conductive will stick to him and some days he just won’t come out of his room because holy shit, his hair will nottttt stop standing on end!! >:[ Also: he signs all of his texts, even though everyone he texts already has his contact saved. Even when he sends multiple texts in a row, he’ll still sign every single one. He totally plays Neko Atsume.
