I think Home and a Half attracts people who enjoy dissecting and over-analyzing things (me being one of them) if the asks you receive are anything to go by. Reading through your world building and in-depth character analyses never fails to make my day, even if I’ve read them twenty times before. They’re just that good! Would you mind if I come up with and send a list of world building questions?

Hi! So I just had a random thought—does Keith in HAAH remember when his birthday is? Idk why this popped in my head, but I realized with the dicey memories and being raised by scientists probs weren’t big on bdays(?) it was a possibility that he forgot. Feel free to ignore if spoilers, but tbh thinking about Keith’s childhood makes me wanna cry. Especially the “all the stars” line, I feel like that’s one of those lines that’s gonna stick with me for awhile bc its so good and so heartbreaking❤️❤️

I’ve been rereading haah, and I just love this line during Keith’s name flashback: “It’s lucid dreaming; he knew it wasn’t real, not anymore…” I think it reflects how results oriented he is, like the past isn’t real if it doesn’t aid him in any easily understandable way. How do you juggle his moments of self awareness (like putting lances comment about ‘not all galra’ in a folder) with his unwillingness to self-reflect, esp in 1st person? Or do you think I’m mischaracterizing?
