I don’t have time to really write any sort of formal analysis currently, and I wouldn’t want to commit to an solid analysis until I’ve had time to slowly rewatch the season again, but as it currently stands…Pros:- The animation was truly stunning. Some very gorgeous scenes.- The Sincline ship looked cooler than I expected.Cons:- …

I’m still so busy I’m like crying where is my summer nowhere that’s where but I saw the season 6 stills and the Voltron trailer and I just…Am I the only one getting the impression that Allura is going to use her magical glowing Altean quintessence to help Lotor get the Sincline ship through the …
Do you think the VLD Druids could be Altean descendants because they use the same magic/alchemy as Haggar/Honerva? Also, am I the only one who thinks that the marks on the face of Keith’s suspiciously human looking mother kinda look Altean? … or maybe I just want more pretty glowing Altean people around… who knows
I have my personal suspicions about the Druids, but I really have no idea where the show is going to go with them. I feel like it could go any number of ways:1) They’re descendants of Galra/Altean hybrids from before the war who decided to align with Haggar because she is the only one who …
Hi! So I have a couple questions but first of all—I love Home and a Half so much! It’s honestly one of, if not my fav Voltron fics, I read it all the way back in December and I still can’t stop thinking about it 😂❤️ so me being me and needing to know every detail possible, I read through some of your answers on ao3 and you mentioned that Hunk’s memories are the rarest to experience in the bond, and only he knows why so I was wondering if that’s gonna come up in the fic at all? (1/2)
I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying the story, and I’m really sorry about the long wait!A question that’s not about Keith, oh my god, what do I do–I’m actually super glad someone asked about this. I’m not sure it’s going to come up in the fic, just because I love Hunk to bits and …
I’ve been rereading haah, and I just love this line during Keith’s name flashback: “It’s lucid dreaming; he knew it wasn’t real, not anymore…” I think it reflects how results oriented he is, like the past isn’t real if it doesn’t aid him in any easily understandable way. How do you juggle his moments of self awareness (like putting lances comment about ‘not all galra’ in a folder) with his unwillingness to self-reflect, esp in 1st person? Or do you think I’m mischaracterizing?
It’s been so long I genuinely can’t remember if I answered this ask or not–in either case I apologize. If I haven’t answered it, I’m so sorry I made you wait, and if I have… I apologize in advance if my answer now doesn’t match my answer in the past! It’s only been like a …
Voltron or Final Fantasy 7?
In my last Voltron post I mentioned that Voltron Legendary Defender is really just Final Fantasy 7 with robot lions, so I wanted to elaborate on some of the comparisons. Obviously this is mostly facetious; there are still several note-worthy differences between the two series, and if you want to get technical, Voltron certainly existed …
A thought on why average to just-above-average shows generate such passionate fan interactions
irrevocably-delicious: I’ve been thinking about this for some time, well really ever since the Voltron fandom blew up again a week or so ago. With the new Voltron discourse, Klance retaining it’s number 1 spot on the trending ship lists, and a lot of my dashboard being occupied with Voltron art, opinions, disclaimers, and meta …
If you don’t mind me asking, what do you find so bad? I mean, I can see rushed and incomplete plots plus plot holes with my novice eyes, but what do the eyes of a master see? And on the flip, what good do you see? I’m curious because it seems to me that you are a meticulous, scrupulous type and I find it an experience to try and see something from someone else’s pov, especially when said person has more skill or knowledge than me. I’m not saying they’re always right though. Just, different.
seasonsandcenturies: echodrops: Agreed–I definitely don’t want to go around suggesting that my way of viewing things is somehow better or more right than anyone else’s; everyone sees things differently, and obviously the Voltron writers have a very specific vision in mind for their own story. I’m sure they have a whole creative process and plan …
