I’ve read different opinions on whether Yato’s feeling for Hiyori come from a genuine place considering the context of his background and many other factors. So to be clear, does Yato actually romantically love Hiyori or is it something else? and does Hiyori reciprocate/have romantic feelings towards Yato? Thank you so much and please take your time responding! I completely understand how time consuming it can be, so I appreciate whatever you are able to give. I hope this isn’t an inconvenience!

I’ve answered an ask similar to this one before, so I would recommend reading that post before you continue on with this one, but now that more time has passed, I do have additional thoughts to add to this discussion.See the read more!In my last post about this time, I mentioned that I believe Yato …

Hi! I don’t know if my previous ask sent, but I just wanted to say I love your critical analysis for the relationships in noragami! They’re well thought out! I was wondering if you have the time to do a yato/hiyori relationship analysis like you did with yato/Kazume &a yato/yukine. If so, I would love love love to hear your well articulated thoughts. C: thank you!!!

Hi!! I’m very sorry it took me so long to answer you! V__VI am still very interested in Noragami and in writing analyses for Noragami, but I’m really daunted and overwhelmed by how much there is to say about the big main ships Yato/Hiyori and Kazuma/Bishamon. There’s just SOOOO MUCH going on there that I …

Hello, I was just wondering if you would be interested in writing the kazubisha analysis? It’s obviously not a problem at all if you have lost interest in the pairing. Your analysis are so well thought out and well written, it’s like viewing the manga in a new lightand that’s why I asked. Well, take care of yourself :) Bye.

Hi! Kazubisha has been requested by a lot of people now. I am very interested in writing about them of course, but as of right now I feel like I keep making promises to write more and more posts and not a lot is getting done. T_T So yes, this is definitely still on the …

does that mean Yato is lying about his past that he was abused and that he still want to kill humans with Hiiro?… cause the post you made bout Hiiro it’s seem like yato and Yukine his the bad guy in the story and Hiiro the good one…. Unless I’m really sorry I misunderstood what you have said….

Hi! Yes, unfortunately I think there has been some misunderstanding!I certainly don’t think Yato was lying about his past and the abuse he experienced. In fact, before I wrote my post on Hiiro, I wrote a very long analysis of Yato’s horrible childhood experiences and how they’ve impacted him.Nor do I think Hiiro is “good” …

The Parallels between Yukine, Yato, and Mizuchi/Nora (A Noragami Meta)

lexinthymia: Rereading Noragami, I am constantly awed by Adachitoka’s masterful crafting of the character relationships. It reminds me of the early days of Bleach. You see the relationships contains layers upon layers of parallels and foils. The primary one I want to talk about, being this one here: In the above, you have a trio …

this is very selfish of me to outright ask because I know how busy you are but *whispers* can you talk some/a little about the new Noragami chapter because it’s one that you will love and I don’t think anyone else is going to discuss it too in-depth just because it’s treated as filler but at the same time it’s /so good/ ugh

I had plans to do this already. I did absolutely love it, my goodness. Way more depth than I think people will give it credit for… I’m not sure how quickly I’ll be able to get this out because real life is a bit rough right now but I’ll try for soon!

I disagree with your assessment of Kugaha. He’s shown to be equally power hungry and wishing to reincarnate Bishamon for self-gain and indulging his personal malice as “legitimate” belief it was best for her. He, Kazuma, and Take’s regalia all show they’re willing to throw almost any selfish desire under the umbrella of “righteousness” to avoid harming their god themselves.

Watch out for Noragami chapter 66 spoilers!Mm, well I certainly don’t think that Kugaha is a good person! I was using him as an example of the ways in which shinki do and do not generate ayakashi–he believed he was right, so he didn’t become or spawn ayakashi. We as an audience know he was …
